Ham Sliders - Gluten Free Dairy Free

This is a tailgate staple! It’s so delicious and people can’t believe it’s gluten and dairy free!


Ingredients:

2 packages (12 sliders) gluten free Hawaiian Roll, I use the Canyon brand.

10 slices Forest Ham

3 tbsp dairy free butter, melted. I use the Earth Balance brand.

1 tbsp poppy seed

½ tsp onion powder

1 package dairy free mozzarella, I use the Miyoko's Creamery brand

½ tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Dijon mustard


Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Grease a glass or metal baking dish with butter.

  3. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half.

  4. Add the bottom of the rolls to the baking dish. Layer with the ham. (Also, I used smoked salmon for a few, and it tasted delicious too!)

  5. Layer with cheese.

  6. Add the top of the Hawaiian rolls.

  7. In a mixing bowl, add the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and onion powder. Whisk together.

  8. Brush the poppy seed mixture on the top of the rolls.

  9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.

  10. Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the top is golden and the cheese is slightly melted.
